Avatar - The Last Airbender

Aang, Katara, Sokka, Toph and Zuko (also the cute Appa and Momo). Those are the common character names that every Avatar fan knows. Avatar - The Last Airbender is a television series that aired for three seasons on Nickelodeon from 2005 to 2008.

The story is about a boy named Aang and his journey to be the Avatar. The Avatar keeps the balance on all Nations (Fire, Air, Earth and Water). After 100 years trapped in the ice berg, Aang must stop the Fire Nation's invasion and return the balance in all Nations. The series is divided into 3 seasons, Book One: Water, Book Two: Earth and Book Three: Fire.

The series suited for everyone. It is interesting enough that even adults watch it, ahem. With the success of this show, a sequel was created; The Legend of Korra. I have yet to watch this.

Overall, great series that will expand your imagination and have good lessons. I definitely recommend it. Ciao!

Attack on Titan

I just watch the first episode of Attack on Titan and immediately got hooked.

It is an adaptation of a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama. The anime started last year April and became a huge success.

The plot revolves around the adventures of Eren Yeager, his adopted sister Mikasa Ackerman, and their friend Armin Arlert. After the wall which protects their hometown of Shinganshina was breached by Titans (Human-like monsters that eats/kills humans) and watched his mother got eaten, he vows to kill all Titans by enlisting in the army.
