Morning came.

Woke up and I remembered going to the Embassy to get my new passport. Hurried taking a bath, preparing and went on.

On my way, i tried to wake up Mi for their meeting for Taba's Halloween party. She didn't go; rather, she can't go as Taba is still not well.

As for Ahya, he is having an exam week (My eldest son). He said he did good. But let's see.

There's a long way going to the Embassy and while going there, K told us that there was fluid extracted from Papa. almost a liter and there are few left that can be removed by antibiotics.

This morning when i woke up, I read the message telling me that my youngest kid, Taba, has fever and vomiting.

Then, i remember, last night she told me Taba did eat a lot. Taba likes eating.

So i told her, to get him to doctor to be examined.

Came afternoon, Mi, taba and Mama Na went to doctor which is in the same hospital as Papa.

She told me, Taba is fine, might  just because of over-eating. Doc also told her not give him any food if he will vomit it out again. so pedialite was given to re hydrate him.

Taba and Mama Na then went home so he can rest.

Mi went on to visit papa. She told me papa seems fine as he now do casual talks.

Also, today is the day he got tested. he waiting for hours just to be tested. 9AM then went on to be 12PM.

Papa told Mi that the needles hurt.

Morning starts.

Tired from last night cleaning the water leak. The leak is between my flatmate and my room. Smells like wet market fish section.

Today, i'm supposed to go to the Embassy to collect my new passport which has 10 years validity. But i thought to myself, the AC cleaner will be arriving today as well. I might miss them; chance to fix the leak problem.

Cleaner came, leak fixed.

Took a bath, went to Pinoy store for my lunch at 5:00PM.

I was then told, Papa will be confined in CGH. Dr. Dy was supposed to at him backed-out as she is leaving the country soon. They waited almost half a day to be admitted (Papa, Mama and A).

Now, they are waiting for the room. I wished this will be faster so Papa can rest.

Same goes with Mama who for 2 days straight going out and doing this. If only... nevermind.

The day started with me early morning going out of bed to start preparing to go to work. Usual feeling, tired and sleepy.

Went to toilet and started to bathe. Then from the messenger I received a notification; from Tita M, asking if she can call. I told her, later in the middle of my shower.

In my mind, what is her purpose for the call? is it to gauge if I'm okay? or perharps guilty that thinking she might be slightly responsible for it? Whatever the case, i decided to talk to her.

Finished preping up, started going to the train station and my commute will commence. "this train will alight at Jurong East platform A" announcement from the train management.

I hop in to the MRT and told Tita M that we are okay to talk.

It went okay. More on to the normal "kamustahan". In the end, i even told her feel free to call me if she just needs someone to talk to.

In my mind, when faced with tradegy, your truce face will show. Not sure if positive or negative, but I appreciate the call.

Later in the afternoon, Mi gave a screenshot where a friend of achi read the findings. He is a TB USAID. He said it could be cancer and at least stage 3. Shocked.

So the news came... [001]

While I am writing this, i still don't know what to feel.

My brother messaged me saying "it is almost confirmed". I asked what. He said, "the mass almost confirmed to be cancerous."

My father, Papa.

We are now just waiting for the biopsy to really confirm that the mass is either benign or malignant. Tita N was updated, Mi was updated.

Next move after the confirmation is operation (if still can). If not, radiation/chemo.

We really don't know what the future holds. People just hope/pray for the better. I hope for the best. I really hope for the best

Big Bang "A" - We Like 2 Party

YG entertainment just released the new music video for the A part of the MADE series. The song is We Like 2 Party.

Comparing this to the first one, Bang Bang Bang, this song have this summer/lay-back feeling. If you are familiar with Big Bang songs, this song have the same feeling like Sunset Glow. Personally, I like this better than Bang Bang Bang.

Personal rating for the MADE album 3/4 :). So far so good. Which do you prefer, Bang Bang Bang or We like 2 Party? Tell me! Ciao!

Corsair Bulldog - 4k DIY Gaming PC

Computex 2015 is currently happening in Taipei, Taiwan and Corsair revealed their new product, the Bulldog.

Based on the reports, it sports the following bare specs:

- $399 dollars
- 600 watt power supply
- Built-in liquid cooling
- Liquid cooling for GPU (optional)

All other parts are up to the buyer. Pretty neat! It is reported to be ship this year fourth quarter.

Big Bang "A" - Bang Bang Bang

Last month, Korean Kpop idol group Big Bang made its come back after 3 long years. Their anticipated comeback (MADE) is divided into 4 parts, M-A-D-E. And every month, starting May, they will be release songs.

Last month, M, they released Loser and Bae Bae. Both songs received positive reviews and tops Korean music chars.

Last night, A, they released the next part of their album. The first song release is Bang Bang Bang. You can watch it below.

Personally, I am not feeling this song compared to the first two. But let's see. Let me know what you think. Ciao!

Nike Blazer Mide SB Elite – Lance Mountain x Craig Stecyk – Motorcycle Jacket

I don't usually lose my mind over nike shoes or even just shoes but when i saw this, i went loco. I wanted to buy it immediately.

The name of the shoe is Nike Blazer Mide SB Elite – Lance Mountain x Craig Stecyk – Motorcycle Jacket. Long name, right? Yes. Apparently, this shoe is the result of the collaboration of Nike SB and skate legends Lance Mountain and Craig Stecyk.

I tried researching the internet on where & how much that shoe would cost. But to my dismay, the shoe was released on 2008! (7 years ago!) and no online store is selling it anymore.

My world is crushed. All hope is lost.

I just hope that nike will have re-stock of this shoe. Ciao! :)

Blogging again

After months of being silent in the blogging world, here I come back.

I said before that we will be blogging more often coming this year but we can't. We got busy. As we welcomed the new year, we also welcomed a new member of our team. My second son :)

This little angel is the reason why we weren't able to blog as we would like to. Sleepless nights.

But starting today, we would like to start again. Hope to blog more this year! Ciao! :)

Sleeping with a Baby

Kids, kids, kids. I have 2 of them and my wife often complains about always being tired, stressed and burned-out. She said that she needs a nanny to help her because she doesn't a time to rest. She always need to check them. But of course, she loves our kids and will do her best for them. Iloveyou! Mommy :)

Yes, you read it right. Kobe "The Black Mamba" Bryant passes Michael "His Airness" Jordan in the all-time scoring list. Kobe is now 3rd in the list with 32,298. The video below shows how he achieved it.

Great achievement! I am a Kobe and MJ fan. We can't compare the two. They have similarities but MJ is MJ and Kobe is Kobe. How I wished I witness it live. This will in the history books.

Aside from Kobe, a couple of NBA stars also passes someone in the list this year. He is one of five active players in the top-20 among all-time NBA scorers. Dirk Nowitzki (ninth), Kevin Garnett(14th), Paul Pierce (16th) and Tim Duncan (19th) are also climbing the ranks in their mid-to-late 30s. Jacky Chan's American and Chinese Movies

We all know Jackie Chan. He is a Hong Kong actor, action choreographer, comedian, director, producer, martial artist, screenwriter, entrepreneur, singer, and stunt performer. He known for his action-comedy movies. I am sure, most of us watched at least one Jackie Chan movie in their life time.

Watching the video made me realize how Jackie Chan puts more effort into his craft. He is very passionate about his work. And because of that, I respect him more and became a bigger fan. I am exposed to Jackie's movies since I was young, not only Jackie's film, but also other Chinese movies. In fact, I watched movies of  Jet Li, Chow Yun Fat, Andy Lau, Sammo Hung, Yuen Biao, Stephen Chow and a lot more before they even got popular world wide. 

Comparing Jackie's American movies to his Chinese movies, I can say that his Chinese movies are better. Just compare Police Story and Rush Hour movies, you can tell the difference in the intensity of the fight scenes. What do you think? Ciao!

Who could have guess the R&B song can be sang this way. I couldn't say that it's better but it is still unique and sounds flawlessly awesome (guitars are killing it). Ciao!

iOS 8.1.2

iOS 8.1.2 is already out. I got my notification yesterday. Based on the description on the update, it fixes the issue that caused ringtones purchased thru iTunes to be removed from the device.

This has been an issue to the Apple users who purchased their ringtones but on the update. The update is not that big. It's about 30MB depending on your device. There are also few unnamed bug fixes but Apple didn't specify what are those but this update will improve stability and performance.

I got my iPad mini updated first. I will observe first before I update my iPhone 5. Ciao!

I admit, I am not a fan of Taylor Swift. Sorry :) But when i saw this video, it made me think again. The Victoria Secret Angels are downright gorgeous! Watch the video below and see for yourself.

Royal Protocol

The Royal Protocol. Is it a movie? of course not. It is the protocol to be followed in front of a Royalty.

Apparently, it is not known to all that the Royalties are not be touched unless told otherwise. This mistake was on the news most of the time and today, Basketball Superstar Lebron "King James" James breached the protocol when he put his arms around the Duchess' shoulder as seen below.

Some say, Americans are very touchy and should have not done that; but for me, I think he didn't mean to touch the Duchess. He just forgot that she was a royalty.

Sometime ago, Vladimir Putin was bashed for not helping the Queen during the 70th anniversary of D-day in Normandy. In the picture below, he is the only one following the protocol. Some say, he was isolated because of the attack of Russia to Ukraine but we can never know.



So remember, always follow the Royal Protocol when there is a Royalty in front of you (that's if will have a chance to meet them). Ciao!

How to Link your Yahoo Mail to Outlook

So, i was tired of using the browser to log in to yahoo mail to check and organize my emails. I have more than 1 yahoo mail account and logging out/in is very tedious. So I was thinking, how to connect my Microsoft Outlook to Yahoo Mail. I had a very hard time looking for a way to do it but then, i was able to do it anyways. So below are the steps I did.

Step 1
- Open your yahoo mail. Go to Settings - Accounts - Accounts and click edit. Under the Access your Yahoo Mail elsewhere option, be sure click POP and the Download spam with no special indicators.

Step 2
- Open Microsoft Outlook. Create an account if you don't have one.

If you see this menu, put in the following:

Your Name: Name of the account
Email Address: Yahoo email address

Account Type: Always POP3
Incoming mail server: pop3.mail.yahoo.com
Outgoing mail server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com

User Name: Yahoo email address
Password: Yahoo email password
* Remember password checked

Step 3
- Once all is filled up, click More Settings. Under Outgoing Server, click My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication - Use same settings as my incoming mail server.

Step 4
- Go to Advanced tab, Incoming server (POP3) should use port 995 and check This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL).

- Outgoing server (SMTP) port should be 465 and change Use the following type of encrypted connection to SSL

Step 5
- Run Outlook, press Send/Receive and you are done.

All of your emails will now be synced from Yahoo Mail to Outlook. You can now then create rules that will suit your needs. Good thing about this is you will have a copy of all your emails on your computer. Archive it to have a backup.

Note: If you add two Yahoo Mail account, Outlook will combine them in Inbox. So it is better to have a rule to separate the email from one account to another.

Christmas Parties

This is the meme I can think of when December hits the calendar while the food, freebies and raffles are the main highlight for me. Some Christmas party have themes like Harry Potter, Star Wars, Bollywood and etc. And of course, every Christmas party is not complete without the presentations, sing and dance.

Actually, our company just completed it and our theme is Super Heroes. They are generous enough to give everyone, who came, a customized X-mini Kai2. You can view the full specs here. I will give my personal review soon.
